Cascaded Optical Modulation per Multi-Carriers

Abstract(in English) Up to now, cascade modulation scheme has been proposed as a optical modulation method. This scheme allows optical modulators to be widely separated. In this paper, distortion and maximum input power to the amplifier dependency on carrier number were calculated for multi-channel CS (communication satellite TV broadcast) compatible video signal modulation by cascaded optical modulation scheme. Calculation shows transmission of 600 carrier satellite video signals by 50 or 100 signal per modulator
