Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 3D Unitary ESPRIT algorithm is widely used to estimate the azimuth, elevation and delay time in antenna array. Through this method the estimated signal parameters need to be paired correctly with its corresponding arrival wave. Currently Simultaneous Schur Decomposition (SSD), Chain Pairing (CP) and Mean Eigenvalue Decomposition (MEVD) are proposed as pairing techniques. However, Chain Pairing and Mean Eigenvalue Decomposition was found to mistakenly pair the DOA signal parameters and produce large DOA estimation errors during certain conditions. This paper proposes an effective pairing method through symbolic calculation. Simulation results show that even under those conditions, the proposed method is able to accurately pair the estimates compared to MEVD and CP. Furthermore calculation time is faster than the SSD method.
