Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For the efficient optimizing of LSI package PDN (Power Distribution Network) in early stage of the design, short TAT analysis of PDN is required. We propose the analysis technique using TMM (Transmission Matrix Method) and approximated equivalent circuits calculated by estimate equations, which are based on electromagnetic simulation and examination. By using this technique, we could estimate the impedance of LSI package in several tens of minutes, including the time for input of package structure. The calculated results of this technique ware in good agreement with that of the commercial electromagnetic simulator within 30% error.
