Abstract(in English) In this paper, a network coding method in which a QoS control is incorporated is proposed to improve the system throughput of a two-hop wireless CSMA/CA relay network. In the case of non-QoS control, when many terminal stations transmit their data frames to each other via only one relay station, the wireless channel is dominated by the uplink from the terminal stations to the relay station. As a result, it deteriorates the system throughput because the relay station can hardly obtain the transmission right on such a wireless channel, and the wireless link from the relay station to the terminal stations will become a bottleneck. As a solution of this phenomenon, we propose the method of modifying the minimum contention window size in the relay station to provide its transmission priority. Furthermore we show that the proposed method improves the system throughput both with and without network coding by computer simulation.
