Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a prioritized service method for web servers. In the method, under a heavy-loaded condition, the server processes the requests for high priority files only. That decreases the number of files to be served per page and thus reduces the load to the server. The priority is assumed to be predetermined according to the last updated time. The method would provide a page which leaves some parts to be displayed. The incomplete service reduces the load to the server, so that can increase the maximum number of connections. Via simulation, in comparison with the existing method, our method can provide lower delay and serve more clients.
