| 抄録(和) | 人間とコンピュータのコミュニケーションにおいて,性別はコンピュータがよりスムーズな対応をするための重要な情報である.そこで自動男女識別システムを構築した.特徴量の獲得には形状と形状内部のテクスチャの輝度値を同時に表現できる統計モデルのActive Appearance Model(AAM)を用いた.まず,複数の顔画像より形状モデルと,テクスチャモデルを作成し,それらのモデルを用いてカメラから入力された顔画像に,顔マスクをフィットさせ,その形状における特徴量と,フィット時に得られるAAMのテクスチャパラメータを使い,ベイズ推定により男女識別を行う.また,識別率についての実験結果を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | Considering a communication between human and a computer, it is important to identify gender automatically to provide appropriate information to him or her. Therefore, we built an automatic gender identification system. To get the facial features, we used Active Appearance Model (AAM) that is statistical model describing both shapes and textures which shows the brightness within shapes. The proposed system extracts shape and appearance models from facial gallery images. Then, facial mask are fitted on the probe image from a camera with those models, followed by extracting shape features from AAM shape model as well as appearance parameters. Using these features, the system identifies gender of a person successfully through the Bayesian inference. An experiment result demonstrates on identification rate up to 91.2% on grayscale. |
