Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper we show a model for 3D images and other high dimensional data distributions using a linear model of weak-stationary random fields. The complete set of invariants of the model under Euclidean motions is obtained. This model is then applicable to object recognition, segmentation and object-based coding of 3D images. Applied to the so-called fibre-bundle models of surfaces, the proposed method reduces to multichannel linear prediction or linear interpolations along fibre-curves. Finally, simulation is shown on object segmentation using the new model.
