Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We present an experiment comparing utterance pattern of participants performing the task based on a modification of the game "Twenty-Questions" in the divergence phase, with that in the convergence phase. Results from the experiment suggest that participants in the divergence phase speak more than participants in the convergence phase, that the mean utterance length in the divergence phase is longer than that in the convergence phase, and that conversation in the divergence phase continues at an uninterrupted pace.
