| 抄録(和) | 非言語コミュニケーションは、言語による伝達が出来ないような情報を伝える。本研究ではオノマトペを用いて、接触行動を伴う非言語コミュニケーションがどのように感じられているのかを調べた。実験では二人の人物の接触行動を伴うコミュニケーションが描かれた写真を呈示し、適切なオノマトペなど、一連の質問項目に答えた。その結果、雰囲気を表すようなオノマトペで表現されたコミュニケーションは比較的望まれるものであったのに対し、動作の特性を表すようなオノマトペで表現されたコミュニケーションは「行いたい」と感じられなかった。またコミュニケーションに対する形容詞評定を用いて主成分分析を行った結果、第一主成分として場の雰囲気(暖かさ)を表す軸が、第二主成分として動作の特性を表す軸が現れた。以上の結果から、接触行動を伴うコミュニケーションにおいては動作の特性自体よりもそのコミュニケーションにより生じる雰囲気の方が優先的に受け取られ、また望ましさを決定することが示唆された。 |
| 抄録(英) | Non-verbal communications convey information that explicit verbal communications fail to transmit. We surveyed how people perceive non-verbal communications involving physical contacts by using Japanese onomatopoeias and sound symbolic words. In the experiment, pictures depicting two persons making a physical contact were presented. Participants answered a series of questions including onomatopoeias most suitable for describing the communication. We found that the communication associated with the words describing atmosphere tended to be more desirable than that describing the physical motion. We also applied a principal component analysis (PCA) using the results of the rating of communication by adjectives, and found that the first component represented the atmosphere of communication. These results suggested that the atmosphere of the communication, not the types of physical contacts, mainly determined how the communication were perceived and desirable. |
