Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A difference of time-delay stereophony (the time-delay difference in arrival times for the same sound in each channel Δt ms) between bone-conducted ultrasound from mastoid and AM bone-conducted ultrasound from tragus was experimentally discussed. In this paper, all six subjects judged that an important question is whether the directions (the right ear or left ear side) are properly reproduced or not. From the results, in the case of bone-conducted ultrasound (40kHz, 10ms) from right and left mastoids, it can be found that the delay time is 12.7ms (50% of the cumulative distribution obtained). In the case of AM (2kHz) bone-conducted ultrasound (40kHz, 10ms) from tragi, it can be found that the delay time is 0.25ms (50% of the cumulative distribution obtained).
