Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The failure diagnosis method of flowmeters based on control limits is useful to detect flowmeters whose probability of failure are higher in order to reduce the cost and the work to calibrate flowmeters. In this study, an error estimation method considering results of the failure diagnosis method is proposed. The estimation method was applied to a process with 18 flowmeters and we investigated the effectiveness of the estimation method. The estimation method will be able to estimate the errors of measured values by flowmeters and be useful to correct measured values.
