Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ultrasound-modulated optical spectroscopy in a coaxial system has been developed in order to investigate scattering media spectroscopic properties. Using a broad spectral bandwidth pulsed laser and a fiber optic spectrometer, the ultrasound-modulated optical spectroscopic images were synchronously acquired by stroboscopic illumination methods. We have obtained the wavelength dependent ultrasound-modulated optical signals, and evaluated the proposed system using a biological tissue phantom containing oxy-hemoglobin and deoxy-hemoglobin absorbers.
