Respiratory Sound Analyzing System based on Auto-Regressive Model

Abstract(in English) In this study, the authors conducted analysis of respiratory sound obtained via electronic stethoscope based on Auto-Regressive (AR) model. Proposal method extract adventitious sounds from respiratory sounds through threshold processing for residual signal which was applied inverse filter of AR parameter of normal respiratory sound. The authors made prototype of system consist of obtaining unit, processing unit, and displaying unit. Result from analysis of respiratory sounds of wheeze patients revealed that prototype can extract adventitious sound segments.
