Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we consider a spectrum sharing system of a cognitive radio by using power control and time sharing for avoiding the inter-system interference on the same frequency. We focus on the spectrum sensing function which can detect the existence of other systems. We find the appropriate spectrum sharing method according to the sensing level of each system and the distance between the primary and secondary systems. In general, only the secondary system avoid giving interference to the primary system by controlling the transmit power or used spectrum. However, if the primary system has a carrier sense function like wireless LAN, the time sharing based on CSMA also can be considered for spectrum sharing method between the primary and secondary systems. In this paper, we confirm the sensing level of each node is very important factor for spectrum sharing between the primary and secondary system. From the results of analysis we discuss an appropriate spectrum sharing method by using the carrier sense function of the primary system.
