| Abstract(in English) | The German Association of Engineers (VDI) has engineers working in various fields. It had supported the NS-regime as an active member until the end of World War II, then it issued a document on engineers' ethics in 1950 to confess for activities during these days. This article describes a historical process of forming the document in 1950. VDI also adopted new code of ethics in 2002. The new code of ethics is also discussed in historical context. |
