Abstract(in English) Diffusion of content delivery services and peer-to-peer (P2P) applications have been drastically increasing the Internet traffic. Especially, since P2P applications generate large traffic on the network, it is a great issue for Internet service providers to resolve the problem. In recent years, moreover, content delivery services are going to introduce P2P mechanisms, and it is concerned that the services will occupy the network resources in the near future. That makes it more important to research and analyze the traffic characteristic of P2P content delivery services for the network control and operation. In this paper, we analyze PPStream that is one of P2P content delivery services. In flow analysis, we compare the characteristic of content delivery services to that of file sharing services, and also show the difference between them.
