Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose a scheduling algorithm of timeslots for wireless links in IEEE802.16 multihop relay networks. The main purpose is to reduce transmission delay between relay nodes and gateway nodes as well as keeping total network throughput. The proposed algorithm is based on the existing method which utilizes a greedy algorithm but changes the order of timeslot assignment. It also accommodates the weighted assignment of timeslots, which is out of scope in the original method. The performance evaluation is conducted through both of simulation and numerical calculation and confirm that the proposed algorithm can provide smaller transmission delay in shorter calculation time.
