Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have been insisted on the importance of reliability management for IP networks constructed of commercial equipments, and established the management measures using the actual outage data. The results using our methods should be reflected to develop the next generation networks or equipments. Therefore, a method is required to face this issue. In this paper, we propose a method to simulate the unavailability of telecommunication networks. This method is constituted by pseudo-outage data with random numbers and mathematical models for various reliability measures proposed by us. The key factor of our method is the exactness of mathematical models. We validate the reappearance of simulation through the comparison to the actual unavailability for a IP network.
