Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, ZigBee is paid to attention as suitable wireless telecommunications standard devices for the sensor networks. However, when the ZigBee networks extends to the large area, the performance of the network is different depending on the network condition that is, the traffic form, the number of ZigBee coordinators, and the number of ZigBee routers, so on. This report shows the outline of "wide area sensing information circulating networks by cooperating with ZigBee and wireless mesh networks" in which ZigBee network is covering very large area. And, this report proposes the design method for the best ZigBee network configuration on the basis of being able to circulate many kinds and great amount of sensor information. In addition, the example of designing the network by using the proposed designing method, performance evaluations of the designed network by the simulation experiment are shown.
