Study of Fiber Skew in SDM-WDM Parallel Transmission Systems

Abstract(in English) High-speed transmission systems of relatively short transmission length have been extensively investigated. The author proposed SDM-WDM parallel optical fiber transmission systems for high-speed access networks. In the systems, both SDM and WDM skews of a fiber ribbon and a fiber are very important. In this report, both skews are investigated assuming a use of skew compensation circuit.
