Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents an AR system for displaying GIS data on a physical map based on geographical data matching by intersections. Our method is inspired from LLAH. LLAH is a method for recognizing a point by combination of geometrical relationships of its neighbor points. By using LLAH, we achieve the matching between intersections in a captured map image and intersection database for identifying the map. In our method, registration and retrieval in LLAH are improved for reducing the computational costs of the retrieval. In addition, LLAH of each intersection is updated while a camera is moving. Our improvements contribute to the case of strong camera tilting, occlusion and fewer intersections' cases.
