| 抄録(和) | 視点依存テクスチャマッピングは,実世界の素材を多視点から計測し,モデルのレンダリングの際に,視点方向を考慮してテクスチャの選択や補間を行うことで,素材の凹凸などの見えの変化を再現する手法の一つである.このような手法の問題点の一つに,複数の視点のテクスチャの境界部分において,異なるテクスチャが混合された画像や,不自然な境界が発生することが挙げられる.本稿では,テクスチャの補間を直接行う代わりに,サンプルとなるテクスチャと補間結果との非類似度を定義し,これを最小化することによって,不自然な模様の発生を抑制しながらテクスチャを合成する手法を提案する. |
| 抄録(英) | View-dependent texture mapping is capturing images of materials of the real world from a multiple viewpoints and texture-mapping an interpolated image generated from the sample images considering the direction of the viewpoint. The method is capable of rendering appearance changes of the texture caused by bumps or other geometrical structures. A disadvantage of this approach is that artifacts called "double images" are often generated at the borders between different texture images, where mixed pattern of different images or unrealistic sharp borders of different patterns are seen. In this paper, a new technique for generating images for view-dependent texture mapping is proposed, in which a texture generation is achieved by minimizing dissimilarities between the output images and the sample images instead of interpolating the samples directly. Using the proposed method, texture images can be generated while suppressing effects of double images. |
