Abstract(in English) We propose a system which reproduce a large-scale scene such as a city using Image-Based Rendering (IBR). To achive this, we developed an efficient compression technique based on eigen images, and an obstacle removal technique to get a better result. The removal of obstacle contributes to the improvement of compressibility by excluding the part with the obstacle in sampling. We implemented a technique to uncompress the data on the fly in real time by using a Graphic Processing Unit (GPU), and confirmed the effect by evaluating the drawing time. In addition, we implemented these method on the driving simulation systems.
