Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The method of wireless access is introduced to construct access networks in the circumstances that wiring network is intractable. Network coding is a highly regarded technology to enhance system capacity of wireless relay networks. By coding and transmitting packets from different sources at the relay station, the system is able to achieve higher throughput. In this manuscript, we propose an analytical model to compute the throughput of a two-hop wireless relay network in which stations employ CSMA/CA protocol and network coding on their MAC layer. We also confirm the difference between the results of theoretical analysis and computer simulations are negligibly small.
