Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Almost Web sites uses the ID/password as a means of the user authentication now. There is an idea "Knowledge base authentication" to authenticate the user by using information that only the user knows. The user need not remember the unique ID and the password by using this knowledge base authentication. However, attribute information of the user is distributed to two or more servers. We propose the knowledge-base-authentication using FOAF(Friend-of-a-Friend metadata file) and OpenID.
