Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent, it becomes more general to deliver video and voice streams of in-house trainings and conferences to many receivers. When delivering such streams, it is very general to use unicast manner. Therefore, it is very easy for unicast servers to journal individual client requests with receipt time and to obtain statistical results about each video and voice stream because individual client requests directly reach to unicast servers. On the other hand, when using multicast manner to deliver streams, it is very difficult to do same things because multicast servers can not receive individual client requests. We devised a new method to journal individual client requests with receipt time in multicast manner by using IGMP messages, and implemented software programs to Flexcast based stream multicast systems. We also reported verification results of our proposed method in this paper.
