Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Cognitive Radio is a wireless communication system which makes it possible to use the channel resources more efficiently by exploiting the temporarily vacant resources. The nodes monitor the surrounding radio environment and detect the resources that avoid interference with the existing system in time and space to select the optimum communication system for its transmission. The information of modulation scheme is also one of the important indicators for the primary system condition. The information is available for constructing additional space channel. Recently, it is the mainstream to use code division multiple access (CDMA), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) for establishing multiple access channel and reducing multipath fading distortion. In this paper, the variance of mean power is used to identify the QPSK and 16QAM signals multiplexed by CDMA manner. The computer simulation shows the required condition for high accurate estimation of modulation scheme in the proposed scheme.
