Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless multi-hop relay networks have advantages such as robustness and flexibility over conventional fixed networks. Particularly, smart two-way multi-hop relay networks such as MIMO two-way multi-hop relay networks and network coding based two-way multi-hop relay networks, have large network capacity and have been receiving much attention. In this paper, a hardware prototype of a network coding based multi-channel two-way multi-hop relay network over the 950MHz band is developed. In the network, the nodes transmit and receive using time division duplex (TDD). The receiver receives orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals from two neighboring transmitters simultaneously using multi-channel. Furthermore, to synchronize the receive timing, an extended ranging scheme for orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) is implemented.
