Abstract(in English) Recently several types of thin antennas applicable to metal attachable RF systems such as FRID card are studied. A method to reduce the thickness of the antenna is to apply the metamaterials with PMC (Perfect Magnetic Conductor) characteristics as the base plate. In this paper, reflection phase characteristics of FSR (Frequency Selective Reflector) with metal plate will be discussed and a simple equation which represents the PMC condition will be introduced. Further thin metamaterials with PMC characteristics using capacitance grid with metal plate will be proposed.
