A research of log analysis technique for web based teaching materials in student experiment class

Abstract(in English) Experiment manuals with very detailed pictures and instructions which is utilizing a web based systems are very helpful for learners in student experiment. Generally, these pages are designed to be browsed page by page in unidirectionally, according to the contents. However, students shuttle between some pages back and forth. In this case, interesting features are found by analyzing recorded logs of the web server. Moreover, these features are well enhanced by utilizing appropriate charts utilizing contour lines. The relativity between each page can be observed by using this chart. In this paper, some results are reported based on different population of two academic years' log data. In this paper, one of these results are reported by analyzing two school years' log data.
