Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It has became easy to accumulate and to deliver scientific data by the recent advances of computer technologies. The CEO Grid project has collected the satellite observation data from 2000 to present, and the amount of the collection is about 150TB. It is required to generate new values by integrating the satellite images and different information sources such as geographic data, scientific data, or web contents. This paper focuses on the integration of remote sensing data and web contents. We develop a system that collects web contents about newly constructed buildings by using feature changes from time series satellite images. The result of experiments showed that the system successfully detected several building construction events with appropriate web contents.
