Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A method of surface model registration using distance map and 3-D Radon transform is proposed. The distance map is defined as each pixel in the 3-D space is attached a value which is inversely proportional to the distance with the closest vertex of the surface model. We convert the distance map using 3-D Radon transform, calculate square integral along the radius in the Radon domain (R-transform). The surface models are rotated so that these two R-transform image may become equal. The surface model is translated using phase-only matched filter for the projected distance maps.
