Abstract(in English) | This paper describes pose estimation problems and rotation matrix estimation in computer vision. One pose estimation problem described here is registration of corresponding point sets X, Y, which estimates a rigid body transformation (in particular, a rotation matrix) that gives the best match between X and Y. Another problem is a regression-based object pose estimation method, which estimates function f that gives the estimates of pose parameters p for a given image x. Estimating a rotation matrix is required for using rotation matrices as the pose parameters of three degrees-of-freedom pose. |
