Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a color image, the information about objects and/or backgrounds is expressed by the differences of colors. However, the dichromats have a difficulty concerning the discrimination of particular color pairs, and it sometimes prevent them from understanding of the information in a color image. To cope with this problem, some methods, which change the color to improve the contrast of the undiscriminatable colors, have been proposed so far. In this report, a new method for modifying the undiscriminatable colors is proposed. The contrast improvement is achieved by modifying of the yellow-blue components in the proposed method. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through the experiments.
