Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An Environmental observation system is a candidate application of sensor networks. In order to achieve the environmental observation, it is important to collect reliable data periodically. In this paper, we produce a field network for the environmental observation with SunSpot, which is a small sensor device produced by Sun Microsystems. The experimental sensor device implements some sensors, and reports an observed data information to a sink node periodically. From the experimental trial, we show that the produced device can construct the field network with high reliability for periodical observation.
