Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, P2P file sharing networks have been widely used all over the world, and a lot of files are transferred among the users without using web servers. Especially, the Share network, one of the most popular P2P file sharing networks in Japan, has very strong anonymity. Then the live Share network is composed of over 100,000 active peers. However, the Share network does not have management mechanisms for the file distribution. Consequently, the copyright infringements and malware propagation in the Share network has become prevalent. In this paper, we propose a content poisoning method for file distribution control. Then, we apply the content poisoning method to the live Share network. The evaluation results show that the proposed content poisoning is effective in the Share network, however, it could also give a bad influence on the network.
