Abstract(in English) Due to recent diversity in network technologies and applications, a requirement for supporting communications in challenged network environments is arising. Suppose packets are delivered from a base station to individual receivers over a lossy wide-area wireless network. For packet-loss tolerant applications with delay time limitation under limited-feedback environments, the present paper focuses on Forward Erasure Correction-based packet recovery for individual wireless users with a considerable diversity in loss rate. We propose a redundant packet combining scheme taking fairness among receivers into account by exploiting broadcast property of the wireless links, and investigate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme through simulation.
