Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an educational video viewer system which can generate the video material from broadcasted TV programs on language study. We extracted video scenes using the Dynamic Programming algorithm and detected the same shots appearing between the corners, which are important for educational purpose. Furthermore, we described the video structures with the XML format, and constructed a structured video viewer which can accept the XML description. Experimental results show that we can generate the adequate structural description semi-automatically by our method.
