Bifurcation phenomena of coupled spiking neurons with time delay

Abstract(in English) This paper studies about delay-induced order of pulse-coupled of spiking neurons: chaotic spike-train output of two isolated neurons is changed into periodic spike-train depending on the coupling delay. The spike-train dynamics can be integrated into one-dimensional spike-phase map on an unit interval. Using the map, the delay-induced order and related bifurcation phenomena can be analyzed precisely. The results provide important basic information for coupling-delay-effects in pulse-coupled neural networks relating to rich potential applications.
