Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In our recent paper, we proposed frequency-domain block signal detection combined with iterative Vertical-Bell Laboratories layered space-time architecture (V-BLAST) and showed that it can significantly improve the bit error rate (BER) performance of single-carrier (SC) transmissions in a frequency-selective fading channel. When the Walsh-Hadamard precoding (WHP) is introduced into the SC transmissions, the signal-to-interference plus noise power ratios (SINRs) associated with symbols in a block are different and therefore, the detection ordering according to SINR can be applied to V-BLAST detection. In this paper, we present the transmission systems model of turbo-coded SC transmissions with frequency-domain block signal detection using iterative V-BLAST detection and WHP.
