Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the next generation mobile communication systems, the use of powerful channel equalization technique is indispensable to overcome the problem arising from severe frequency-selective fading channel for the realization of Giga-bit data transmissions. A combination of multicarrier (MC) code division multiple access (CDMA) and frequency-domain equalization reception based on the minimum mean square error criterion (receive MMSE-FDE) is known as a robust wireless access technology. If the channel state information (CSI) is available at a transmitter, transmit MMSE-FDE (or pre-FDE) can be used. In our previous paper, we proposed a joint transmit/receive MMSE-FDE. In this paper, we study and compare the three types of MMSE-FDE for MC-CDMA. The bit error rate (BER) performance is evaluated by computer simulation.
