Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 800MHz band Field Pick-up Unit (FPU) system is mainly used at live marathon programs to transmit the live camera picture from the moving van. We are studying MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) and FEC (Forward Error Correction) technologies to develop the improved next generation FPU system. About FEC, we are aiming to apply LDPC (Low-density Parity-check) code and, its application, SCLDGM (Serially-concatenated Low-density Generator-matrix) code. On [4], we proposed the new type of LDGM structure that improves the BER (Bit Error Rate) performance of SCLDGM code. In this paper, the performances of several types of SCLDGM codes are evaluated both by the simulation and the field transmitting experiment. For addition, we mention to the further details on applying the SCLDGM codes to the FPU system.
