Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper investigates uplink transmission power control methods to mitigate inter-cell interference from HUE (Home User Equipment) served by home base station HeNB (Home eNodeB) to macrocell base station MeNB (Macro eNodeB) in Evolved UTRA (UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access). When we assume that OI (Overload Indicator) is available in HeNBs, from system level simulation results, we show that OI-based TPC applied to HUE inherently gives poor throughput for MUE (Macro User Equipment) served by MeNB. Furthermore, we also show that HUE's TPC based on path loss from HUE to its serving HeNB and path loss from HUE to its neighbour MeNB improves the throughput performance of MUE due to mitigation of inter-cell interference compared to HUE's TPC based on path loss from HUE to its serving HeNB.
