Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have investigated single-carrier (SC) and multi-carrier (MC) hybrid system. MC transmission is effective for high data rate communication, SC transmission is effective for keeping a wide cover area. In this paper, we investigated influence of near-far problem for uplink, which causes difference between the received power from SC and MC terminals. The results of computer simulation show that it is easily to reduce interference by removing at head and tail of block in SC. Therefore, the proposed SC/MC hybrid system is able to overcome the near-far problem.
