Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OFDM has a problem of high peak to average power ratio (PAPR) whereas it is tolerant to the frequency selective fading. As a countermeasure for the high PAPR problem, partial transmit sequence (PTS) giving different phase rotation to segmented blocks has been proposed. However, PTS requires side information on the phase rotation. Previously, we proposed a simple blind detection based on the M-algorithm with very low complexity. However, some degradation has been observed when the constraint length of the convolutional code is long. In the paper, as the countermeasure we evaluate the case with two survivor paths in M-algorithm in addition to the bi-directional search.
