Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Communication quality reduction at cell-edge (cell-edge problem) is a big problem in modern cellular system. Recently, Base Station Cooperation (BSC) MIMO is considered to solve the cell-edge problem. In the cell-inner, Single BS MIMO is employed since BSC MIMO does not improve user capacity. This system is called Fractional Base Station Cooperation (FBSC). However, because two transmission scheme is adaptively switched in FBSC, conventional user scheduling must be improved to adopt FBSC. In this paper, user scheduling for BSC system is developed and evaluated in FBSC Cellular Network (FBSC-CN). In the proposed use scheduling, throughput is improved owing to adaptive selection of user with good channel status.
