Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed a discrete-time dynamical system consisting of a global inhibitor and chaotic neurons that can generate oscillatory responses with high order of period. Each chaotic neuron has a direct current (DC) input. The dynamical system of chaotic neurons with only the same values of DC inputs becomes symmetric. Through analyzing bifurcation phenomena of periodic points observed in two- or three-coupled system of chaotic neurons and a global inhibitor, we elucidated the generating mechanisms of periodic points in symmetric or asymmetric dynamical systems. In this report, we treat a three-coupled system and study basin of stable periodic points for several values of DC inputs to each chaotic neuron. The results give significant information for designing parameters of a dynamic image segmentation system using our coupled system.
