| 抄録(和) | 現在,OSS(オープンソースソフトウェア)は,数多くの企業,自治体,教育機関,政府関係機関などにおいて,様々な分野で使用されている.また最近では,組込み機器に対してもBusyBoxやAndroidに代表される組込みOSSが積極的に採用されつつある.一方で,利用者側や開発者側にとって,サポートや品質上の問題といった多くの不安が残されている.特に,組込み製品に対して組込みOSSを導入する際には,移植可能性の評価,移植作業期間における進捗管理,および最適リリース時刻の決定が重要となる.本論文では,こうしたOSSの信頼性を評価するためにハザードレートモデルを適用するとともに,その最適リリース問題について議論する.さらに,実際のバグトラッキングシステム上から採取されたフォールトデータに基づく信頼性評価例を示すとともに,その適用可能性について考察する. |
| 抄録(英) | In accordance with a penetration of the Internet, it is increasing public awareness of the importance of online real-time and interactive functions. Especially, OSS (Open Source Software) systems which serve as key components of critical infrastructures in the society are still ever-expanding now. Also, the embedded products have adopted the embedded OSS's as typified by BusyBox and Android. This paper focuses on an embedded OSS system developed under the open source project. We apply a hazard rate model for reliability assessment of an embedded OSS. Especially, it is very important in terms of software management that we decide for the optimal length of porting phase for embedded OSS. We find the optimal porting-time based on the total expected software cost. Then, we formulate a software cost model based on hazard rate model and analyze the optimal release problem minimizing the total expected software cost. Also, we analyze actual software-failure occurrence time data registered on the but-tracking system by using the hazard rate model to show numerical examples of software reliability assessment for the embedded OSS. |
