Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Relationship amongst indices which were extracted from papillary response during pupillographic sleepiness test (PST) were determined for predicting sleepiness. Pupillary unrest index (PUI) and mean frequency powers in the periods of 0.1-0.8Hz and 0.9-1.9Hz, which were extracted by factor analysis of frequency spectrum for compensated pupillary response with blink artifact, also blink time were summarized. Those indices were compared between high and low groups of subjective sleepiness indices. A possible causal relationship amongst those indices was determined using structural equation modeling technique. According to path coefficients on the model, influence of blink was examined.
