Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a new associative kanji learning support system using animations with story for digital natives. In the system, the kanji animations are designed using the stories associated with kanji form, meaning, stroke order, and kanji elements for effective kanji learning. In addition, multilanguage captions and sounds of the animations are independently superimposed on the same time using XML data for activation of learner's knowledge of mother language. The animations of the system are accessed from both online use via web on the Internet and offline use via podcasting for digital native learners. |
